Retrieving or changing the password

Retrieving the password

Assisted

If you lost/forgot the password and are thus unable to access your account, contact the School Office and ask that it be reset for you. A temporary password will be emailed to you. You should then proceed to change it to a private one (for instructions, see below).

Unassisted

A user can retrieve their password on their own with the use of the text message-based method. This method is only available to users who defined in their email account settings a telephone number to be used for that purpose.

To initiate the process, the email account user should go to the password reset screen and enter the required data (email address in question, last three digits of the telephone number assigned to the address, and the captcha code).

A security code will be sent by text message to the provided telephone number.

Propagation of the new password to the Office 365 platform may take several minutes.

Changing the password

To change your password, go to Central Login, log in and proceed to change the password. The operation will result in a change of the password for both your email account and USOSweb. After the operation, allow a few minutes for the systems to sync.

Note:

The new password must be 8-16 characters long and should contain at least one of each of the following:

  • uppercase letter,
  • lowercase letter,
  • digit,
  • a special character (e.g.: @#$%^&*-_+=[]{}|:,.?/~())
