As part of the Erasmus +Program the academic year 2018/19, the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University Medical College offers its students spots for student exchange in the following universities (length of stay: one or two semesters, unless specified otherwise):

ITALY (Italian, English) – only for 4th-year and 5th-year students

To partake in the exchange in the academic year 2018/19, current students of the following classes should apply:
The exchange program is intended for the students of the 4th, 5th and 6th year of 6 year MD program for high school graduates and 3rd, 4th and 5th DDS program in English JU MC.
Applications for the exchange program are to be submitted in the academic year proceeding the academic year in which the student will be partaking in the program.
Required of an applicant is the following:
average of grades for the courses taken theretofore (not lower than 3.5) – max 10 pts;
|>3,5 & <3,75||2 pts|
|≥3,75 & <4,0||4 pts|
|≥4.0 & <4,25||6 pts|
|≥ 4,25 & < 4,5||8 pts|
|≥ 4,5||10 pts|
interview in the language of the target country and/or English – max 5 pts;
level of academic activity (active participation in scientific societies confirmed by the supervisor of a particular group, active participation in conferences, academic publications, etc.) – max 5 pts;
social work – confirmed by Council of the Student Self Government Organisation JU MC (Rada Samorządu Studentów Wydziału Lekarskiego UJ CM) or in IFMSA – max 3 pts.
Note: After the final acceptance student is obliged to present MRSA test results.
A student of the Faculty of Medicine JU MC may study outside the mother university for no more than two semesters during the whole course of studies (in special circumstances up to four semesters). The student is entitled to only one scholarship trip per academic year.
Students partaking in the Erasmus+ exchange program are exempt from fees for the studies abroad and are granted partial funding for covering the costs of living.
All lectures and classes are conducted in mother languages of the universities (unless specified otherwise). Required level of proficiency depending on the university: B1, B2 or C1 (Lausanne, Aarhus).
Applicants for the exchange program in Belgium, Portugal, Slovenia and Hungary will be assessed in terms of their knowledge of English, and in case of the exchange programs in Spain and Italy, applicants’ knowledge of Spanish and Italian respectively is taken into account first of all, and then their knowledge of English. The educational institutions in the above-named countries hold language courses prior to beginning of the classes.
Recruitment to Erasmus+ in the academic year 2018/19 will be conducted via USOSweb.
To partake, log in to the system, go to Student’s section (main menu), and next to Student mobility (left side menu bar). Applications will be accepted by January 26, 2018.
Paper documents are still required, irrespective of the online application. Recruitment proceedings will ba carried out from January 8, 2018 through January 26, 2018.
